Day 7 - April 4 - Scottsdale
We're a bit late in posting this, but the final adventure of our trip (aside from missing our flight home) was a fun day at the Scottsdale Train Park and a quick trip back to Old Town for some final souvenirs. Here are a few pics (and there are $1 rides at the train park):

Day 6 - April 3 - Scottsdale
We kicked back and had a very relaxing day! After a free trip to a splash-pad down the street, we hung around the hotel and pool for the rest of the afternoon. From what we've seen of Scottsdale so far, with the exception of the "Old Town" section, the city is very commercialized, with plenty of new strip malls and higher end stores. We decided to explore the Old Town section for dinner, as it's more catered to tourists and has an old-school western style feel.
James having fun at one of the many free splash-pads in Scottsdale:

Having dinner at Los Olivos Mexican Patio, where "slightly spicy" actually means "so hot it
will make you sweat". Aside from that, the food was delicious.

Day 5 - April 2 - Phoenix
Today we took the kids to the Phoenix Zoo in the morning and then went to the Diamondbacks vs. Cardinals game at night. Everyone had a great time!
The Cardinals beat the Diamondbacks 6-1, but we had fun cheering for the home team anyway.

Day 4 - April 1 - Sedona
This morning we left our hotel in Flagstaff and headed south toward Phoenix. A few people suggested we try to visit Sedona, Arizona while we're out here, so today we drove through Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona on our way south. Sedona is medium-sized city nestled in canyons of red sandstone formations (the Red Rocks of Sedona)....just southwest of Flagstaff. We hadn't done much research about Sedona, but we're definitely glad we decided to stop by!
Although we only spent one afternoon here, it's easy to list it as one of the most beautiful places we've ever been. The red sandstone formations reminded us of last summer's vacation to Garden of the Gods in Colorado, but the sandstone in Sedona is much bigger. The pictures don't really capture how beautiful this area is. The canyon is more than 20 miles long, and there are views like this during most of it:
